Fullerton Police and Kelly Thomas

I haven't been keeping this blog up and for that I apologize.

Sometimes you just get really tired of seeing the same old thing on a different day. You get tired of talking about it and just don't.

The other thing is something I've touched on before. How do you write something new and interesting about essentially the same subject day in and day out?

Sometimes I just throw in the towel and give up.

A couple things have been happening these last few days that I've thought about addressing but haven't until today.

Today, I was reading CNN when I came across a column by Ruben Navarrette entitled "Cops must face justice in killing of homeless man."

It made me mad once again, mad enough to start back in here.

First off Mr. Navarrette begins with the travesty of justice that occurred to those officers in Los Angeles from the 1992 use of force incident involving Rodney King.

As you can imagine the liberal Navarrette took the viewpoint that he considered the travesty to be the cops being found not guilty when in fact it was the media and liberals portrayal which was the travesty followed by even worse when the Justice Dept. caved in to the pressure from blacks and liberals to retry the officers on trumped up charges of civil rights violations of which of course, under pressure, the officers were found guilty.

He used that sad incident to justify somehow the need for the Justice Dept. to once again stick their noses into a police vs combative subject situation once again occurring in Southern California.

A crazy man fought with cops in Fullerton Calif. and force was used as he was not complying.

Several hours after the incident the man died.

Now this is something which is sad and something which a cop hopes never happens but it sometimes does.

The officers apparently are no longer working for the department and at a pure guess from reading stuff I'd say they were fired.

I want to say they were abandoned by their department but that would be from memory which for me isn't good. So I'll just say they were referred to as "Former" officers.

They were also charged with murder and other crimes to which they were found not guilty by a jury this week.

Navarrette is screaming bloody murder as are the whiny bleeding hearts and media over this man's death.

He is also demanding, like in the King mess, that the Justice Dept. come in and get these officers since they've gotten away with murder. He wants them to do what they did in the RK case which is try them a second time to get the verdict he and rest of his like minded ilk think "Should" have resulted from the trial.

Once again people like him want a certain verdict and cannot stand to see justice prevail and innocent police officers acquitted of supposed crimes which they did not commit.

His ideas about things are a perfect example of why a trial is important to bring out all the evidence in a case so a proper verdict can be rendered. His ideas like the media exemplify the bleeding heart mentality which exists and which he and those like him like to use to try a case irrelevant of the facts of said case.

He says because the suspect was screaming out calling to his father to help him that it somehow excuses the resisting, fighting and non-compliance which took place. A reader states the family said the man couldn't understand the police officers' commands because he was a nut case.

That I suppose means the cops are supposed to be somehow liable for the man's mental problems and not complying?

Excuse after excuse but what got me the most I suppose besides the attacks on the officers and the jury was that Navarrette insisted on repeatedly tying the RK incident to this one and specifically that in the RK case the verdict was the result of racism and in this one a result of prejudice against the crazy.

That bothers me to watch people in what are supposed to be responsible positions changing history and portraying things vastly different than what actually took place. Look at Carter today vs the reality of living through his sorry Presidency.

I was born and raised in Southern California. I was there in 1991 and later in 1992. I was there before that as well.

I had extensive training including law enforcement training, security training as well as EMS training at the time the RK incident occurred. That training included quite a bit in the use of force and in the use of the baton which was involved in the RK incident. This training included being certified in the use of the PR-24 side handle baton. That training covered many topics from types of blows to be used to possible consequences to using them.

When the heavily edited and looped RK tape surfaced I watched it along with so many other people and I listened to the media spinning a tale which had nothing to do with reality or facts.

I was both appalled and sadly accepting at the same time as I watched the Chief first stand by his officers and state he would not rush to any judgment until the facts and investigations were complete. I was saddened when he caved to pressure not long after and threw the officers under the bus in an effort at appeasement.

I watched as the officers were made scape-goats for this supposed racial injustice. I watched as they were vilified by both the public and their brothers in the police around the country.

I watched knowing they were screwed and they had no chance in my opinion for a fair trial not with all the blacks and liberals screaming for their heads constantly.

I ran into a black LAPD Lt. who told me if there was any justice in the world they would be found innocent because they did nothing wrong.

I agreed with him but I didn't think there was a chance in hell that it could ever happen.

I watched the video and could plainly see the force was more than justified and in fact that the officers could easily have used deadly force but didn't. Ironically it was their decision to try non-lethal methods to take RK down that led to the whole mess. If they just shot him and were done with it then there wouldn't have been any problem.

When the trial came I watched as much as possible of it and was not surprised when a lot of facts which had either not been mentioned or glossed over by the media came out. I watched as they went through the video, often second by second, as they analyzed it.

I watched as they brought out the use of force guidelines in place at the time. I watched as they went through the training which the officers had received from the department. I watched as over and over again the question was asked of whether the officers violated those guidelines through each second of the video and I watched as over and over again the answer was no.

I watched as they went through the training and use of a PR-24 baton and blow by blow if the strikes were appropriate to the circumstances and training which the officers had received in what strikes were and were not acceptable.

I watched as they were proven to be the official strikes authorized for use and in the end they only found literally one or two strikes by one officer I think it was that were not necessary and appropriate.

They also clearly showed in that case where that officer was restrained by another to stop any excessive use of force.

I watched as you found out that the video wasn't minutes but mere seconds long.

I watched as every strike was paired up with conduct by King which warranted said strike.

And in total shock and disbelief I watched as they came back with a not guilty verdict for those police officers.

I had also watched over the last day or two at most where some but very few in the news in LA started to backtrack from all the things they'd been saying trying to negate a year of complete BS which they'd been propagating. It was far too late by that point as well as in the days that followed.

I was ecstatic that justice had actually prevailed in the case. After watching and listening to a year of people wanting to crucify the officers, after listening to the blacks crying that this was their proof of everything just about with regards to the LAPD and police in general, to actually see a group of twelve people stand up and say screw you, you people aren't going to force us to carry out your plans was overwhelming.

They made it plain they voted based on the facts, on reality and on what actually happened vs what had been played up by others.

The officers were free as they should have been.

You know the rest, the blacks went nuts, other minorities joined in and hell broke loose in bad parts of town. The better parts just armed themselves and waited.

I had watched Gates, the LAPD chief who for a long time I had a great deal of respect for, turn tail and abandon his officers to the lynchmob which had been formed over this.

I had hoped he'd send in officers with shoot to kill orders to put a stop to the blacks' behavior once and for all, but he didn't. He would say that he had a choice of turning the streets into a bloodbath (My way) or just letting them run wild and he chose the latter to show the world what he and the LAPD officers dealt with on a smaller scale each and every day.

Another thing which was said around that time was even animals don't foul their own nest unless there is something seriously wrong with them.

This put animals above the blacks by a large degree.

Unfortunately this didn't work. There had been years of the "Black Problem" in LA and this whole thing was just the latest pile of shit from them and certainly not the last. The majority of decent people already knew what they were like and the idea for others there and around the country to "See" didn't work because they didn't.

It was a well known fact out there that if the blacks came into a neighborhood decent folk better get out because they very quickly turned said neighborhood into a pile of crap then go bitching about it being such a pile.

The media started analyzing what they had done and there were more admissions that they had portrayed the story in a manner that didn't show what really happened which resulted in the verdict which did.

Mr. Navarette now says that all the media attributed it to the white Semi Valley residents not wanting the blacks in their neighborhood and didn't want to punish the cops for trying to keep them out.  That's not what at least a lot of the media was saying back then.

There were plenty of blacks, liberals and black community leaders who were saying it, claiming it and such but I don't remember the media doing more than repeating it.

Racism again, of course. I suppose now history has been changed to reflect it was just a bunch of white racists rather than a truly conscientious jury looking at the real facts and returning the only possible true verdict.

I'm surprised Mr. Navarrette failed to mention the other big thing the blacks were screaming then and for many years after. That it wasn't a riot but a social protest against racial injustice or some such absolute garbage. Maybe he's usefully forgotten that line of bull, too bad he didn't forget the rest too.

With blacks and others demanding something be done the Feds came in and under threat of more riots charged the officers again. Under the same constant threats they were tried a second time and a jury under threat of riot found them guilty. Some say because they packed it with blacks, some say because of the threats and some say because they kept whites out they were able to advance their racism theory much more easily.

In the end due to this injustice the officer's lives were totally destroyed along with those of their families.

Most importantly to some though was the blacks were appeased yet again.

At a high cost though as everything since then has brought about threats to riot especially when things don't go their way. Their favorite slogan is "No Justice, No Peace" which means "We get what we want or we'll riot"

Which brings us to the second part of this which is the Thomas case.

Mr. Navarette starts us off in that section lamenting that there hasn't been any rioting in this case like that of RK. (Said it differently but same meaning. Called it civil unrest)

He goes on to say that the jurors must not have watched the same tape as everyone else as if they had there wasn't any way for them to come up with the verdicts which they did.

Much like RK these type of people see only the story which they want to see and if it is different then someone is at fault for not "Getting it"

It doesn't matter what the evidence is or is not its simply that the jury didn't see it their way so they are wrong.

Mr. Navarette goes on to say such things as a cop remarking to others about the fight that he ran out of options and had to use the butt of his taser to strike the suspect somehow shows malice and ill intent.

I take exception to that. To me it shows an officer who ran out of options to use against an actively fighting and combative suspect and was forced to use what he had available to him as a last resort, his taser.

But that isn't how Navarette and his kind see this of course. Its some horrible something which frankly I'm not even sure how he arrives at but it is just because all the whiners say it must be so.

He goes on to say how this this nut job was a "Defenseless and compliant young man screaming in pain....etc. yet I had seen videos of this before and before responding watched the video CNN had up with the story showing I guess some of the supposedly most egregious parts of it and saw something completely different.

I watched very closely as officers fought with this person. I watched the suspect kick officers, try to kick them, struggle, resist, be combative and fail to comply with orders. I heard them repeatedly apply the taser to what appears to be no effect.

I can see the officers doing a number of things to effect compliance yet not succeed.

I can see all this yet Mr. Navarette and those like him cannot. I had those making comments to my post state they saw something entirely different.

I don't know what though.

The one thing Mr. Thomas was not was defenseless and compliant that night from the videos I've seen. Not only that but while he's screaming for his daddy to help him he's still resisting and fighting the officers who are telling him throughout to stop fighting, and to relax amongst other comments of that nature.

One thing though which I do get very tired of is the "Facts to become known" syndrome which exists in a lot of these cases which has nothing to do with the actual event itself.

What becomes known the next day, week or month doesn't matter a single bit to what took place at the time of the incident.

The officers at the time had a car burglary suspect who was adversarial and non-compliant. Attempts to secure that were resisted and led to ever greater use of force as the suspect escalated the confrontation.

The suspect screamed in rage repeatedly at the officers as he was fighting them. He controlled what happened that night as RK did 20 odd years ago. Yet the officers now as then are getting the blame.

Now you hear that he was mentally ill, that he was having a psycho episode at the time, that he may not have understood the officers, (which I don't believe) that the call may have been fake just to get the guy away from where he was at in front of a business, that he wasn't on drugs or anything else etc.

The thing is not a bit of that matters at all. It never does.

Because the only thing the officers' actions can be judged on is what they knew, thought, believed and acted upon at the time the event occurred and whether those actions under law were justified.

Those things have an effect upon actions that will be taken in an event and its those things that get forgotten.

They thought for instance that he was on drugs because of the wild and super strength way he was fighting them and acting towards them.

It doesn't matter that he was found to be drug free and his aggressiveness and strength was a result of his mental problems.

The officers didn't know anything about that when the event took place.

Nothing found out later has any bearing on the event yet people keep insisting that it does.

Its like that case in Texas I think it was. Some guy attacks a cop who has to shoot him. After everyone is crying that the bad guy was such a sweet, caring, gentle, loving A student and had never been in trouble with the law or violent before etc.

It doesn't matter because that night he was and sadly lost his life in taking on the police. Same for the guy who all the cops knew was a nut case, he pulled that screwdriver and the officer shot him. All the rest is immaterial.

So it is here. The only question is was this guy fighting and resisting? Was he failing to comply and aggressive?

The answer is yes.

So Mr. Navarette's next to last argument is that like the evident "Racism" in the RK case to explain the jury's verdict so it must be here.

People don't like the mentally ill and therefore want the police to move "Those" people away from where they live. Just like he claims white people didn't want "Those" people in their neighborhood back in 91 and wanted the police to move them too.

That is his reasoning for why the jury looked at ALL the evidence and found the police not guilty.

Its also a conclusion in which he uses to call for the Feds to step in and via the Justice Dept. bring "Justice" to Mr. Thomas's family by going after the cops who were just found innocent with double jeopardy.

Unfortunately for Mr. Navarette Santa Ana has long been a minority majority in that city unless things have changed a whole lot. So there aren't any white racists to blame, then again the suspect in this is white so I guess they can't blame that.

But they do bring up the prejudice angle, matter of fact he says people in Los Angeles are saying the new RK are the mentally ill.

Well let me say this, mentally ill people should be locked up if they are that much a threat and that much of a problem. If they are so much victims in life as he and his kind want to make out then lets protect them and society and lock them back up like they used to be.

That way everyone is protected. They can get enough Thorazine to to not be a danger to themselves or others that way.

Wonderful drug that one is.

I feel like sometimes when I am arguing these use of force cases that I'm almost like advocating for cops to kill people and that isn't what I want nor is it what I'm trying to do.

Damn it though it sure does feel like it sometimes and this is one of them.

These cases are tragic, regrettable, sad, horrible for the families involved and most especially for the police officers who are faced with them.

They're certainly not what anyone wants.

But to crucify police officers for doing their jobs, to watch police chiefs abandon their officers to the wolves in so many of these cases because people start making noise and these chiefs don't have a set between them just makes me sick.

What makes it worse is to read the comments sections about these events.

Some are ignorance like the comments saying he didn't have to comply with orders from the police.

So many though are nothing but pure hate. I saw calls to kill the cops in the comments section tonight. I can't tell you the vast number of anti-police rants that were up there but it was sickening.

And it all stems from this liberal crap that has been indoctrinated into our society for many years now. There is no respect left for our men and women in law enforcement or at least very little from what I can see.

The concept of don't fight the cops and you won't get your ass kicked seems beyond the ability of so, so many to grasp. And further when they do get their ass kicked everyone takes the bad guys' side in it and wants to hang the police.

That didn't use to be the way things worked and I for one wish it still were.

So we now have Mr. Navarette and his ilk crying foul once again and calling for another injustice to be perpetrated on police officers in Southern California as was done 20 odd years ago.

Only this time I wonder if anyone will stand up for the officers to see one doesn't get done?

Amok Time

Well I guess I'll start this out with the big news of the day although I won't go on and on about it. I think it speaks for itself.

The "Nuclear" option was selected today by Sen. Reid and the democrats. It lets them do away with the two thirds majority rule that has been in place in the senate since God knows when and allows the democrats to do pretty much whatever they want.

They don't mention they had a hissy fit when the Republicans also floated the idea of doing what they did today and Obama even called doing such a thing unconstitutional. Today though he applauded screwing the Republicans over and can't wait to further impose his destructive ideology upon us, the American people.

Oh well just remember payback is a bitch. One day, just statistically speaking, the Republicans will be back in control and then guess what?

It'll be you, the democrats turn to be screwed over and I'm going to laugh when it comes.

Enjoy it while you can.

Absurdity number one of the day is some crazy liberal nut job in Portland Or. is saying PB&J sandwiches are racist and serving them in the schools is an example of some white privilege crap and also racist.

She thinks pitas or tortas should be the proper food served to avoid exercising white privilege and being racist. That goes for talking to children about foods too. Talking about PB&J's is not something black and brown children will be comfortable with apparently.

The saddest thing though is that if it was just her being off her rocker I wouldn't care. She could go off and be the whack job she obviously is and it wouldn't affect anyone else other than to make them laugh.

The thing is though she's a principal of an entire K-8 school and apparently in charge of "Sensitizing" the teachers in the school and/or district to their "White Privilege" and making sure they teach diversity and other liberal claptrap to the children. All teachers have to undergo this crap as part of a decree regarding diversity and sensitivity training.

Sad for the children but it goes with what they've been doing to the children in that state for quite some time. Check into I believe it was called 21st Century Schools back in the early nineties and the utter crap they foisted off on the children in that state because of it. Also look at how the state treated the multitudes of parents who were outraged at what was being taught, or more importantly what was not, like any basics.

Absurdity number two was something I read yesterday and I'm still laughing about it.

Sorry, but it is hilarious.

One hundred and thirty two nations walked out of climate talks in protest that the rich nations won't give them a hundred BILLION dollars each and every year over this whole supposed climate change bs.

Sorry but don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

At least that's what they should be told but instead as you can probably imagine there are all these whiny people who are jumping up and down crying over the rich countries not paying for what doesn't exist.

I mean really? These nuts want a hundred billion a year for supposed future harm they might suffer?

Screw that!

The whole climate change thing continues to fall about as time goes along and nothing is showing any of it has any basis in reality but instead more and more evidence comes out showing that its been made up for the purpose of control.

Control of nations, peoples, money and an eventual united government whose philosophy has long been espoused by liberals.

It is also about redistribution of wealth and they who champion it make no bones about it being that, although they dress it up a bit by calling it past, current and future reparations for climate change damage caused by those who have against those who have not. It means give huge amounts of money to poor third world countries and take it from rich white ones.

Someone just tell them to go to hell. I don't give a damn if they like it or not. I don't care what they want. I don't care what they demand and I sure as hell don't care to see them ever get a damn thing.

As far as I'm concerned they can keep walking. Sadly we have a President and administration who want to force the whole climate change fallacy down our throats so all we can do is hope he doesn't give away the store in his socialist expansion plans.

Australia has already decided to dump the whole climate change bull while Japan has "Delayed" implementing theirs. France is facing extreme and violent opposition to their CC farce and imposition of new rules. England is realizing that the CC isn't really and are facing opposition to any implementation there as well.

Now if the United States can only come to their senses and rid themselves of it.

In the meantime I have been stocking up on light bulbs for the future. I may have to use these new pieces of $hit in a few years that isn't going to happen for a long time. Got quite a bunch so far and I'm still buying.

So that's what's up today. Diversity gone amok, Democrats gone amok. Environmental whackos gone amok, although in this case, that is a benefit for the rest of us.

Everyone has gone amok. :)

Oprah and Democrats, you just don't get it, again

Two quick notes today.

(This is for all the Democrats and democratic sympathizers who have been crying this week about the health care law being such a disaster as being all the Republicans fault)

One is to the Democrats out there, just because the Republicans do not want something that is bad for the country to work or succeed doesn't mean we are to blame when the crap you came up with doesn't work and/or works badly.

Its your bloody health care law and we didn't have any part in it.

All it's successes if any would accrue to you but that means all it's failures do also. Since its nothing but a failure and disaster to this country you get to eat it.

So deal with it and stop whining!  Its a bad law and its bad for the country and its all your fault.

The other one is for Oprah Winfrey.

Just because President Obama is a horrible President. Just because he's anti-American. Just because he's he's destroying this country.

It doesn't mean everyone's dislike of him has anything to do with race as you said.

Guess what? Race is the least thing to find issue with if you could find a problem with it. Its everything else that the people don't like.

I am not foolish enough to think there aren't people out there who don't like him just because of his being black but make no mistake unlike what you said the majority of people don't like him because of his policies and what he has done to this country both at home and abroad. That doesn't even include what he wants to do to this country which will be even more disastrous for us.

Your bleating that everyone who is opposed to him is because they don't like black people is utter BS.

What you and the Democrats don't seem to get or simply are unable to comprehend is people don't want the liberal leftist progressive socialist viewpoint which he and the Democratic party espouse.

They don't like him because of that. They don't like him because he's sold us down the river with radical Islam and they don't like he's abandoned his allies in the name of appeasement.

There is so very much with which to dislike him and his party and all of it has nothing to do with race. The few who don't like him because he's black don't even register on the scale as being of any significance at all.

Once again I'll give you the message you still haven't grasped in all these years.

It's about ideology, ideology, and once again, ideology.

Illegals, Blacks, Jews and Nancy Pelosi.

Well saw an interesting article about immigration earlier tonight where Rep. Guttierrez, a democrat from Illinois said something to the effect of Congress needs to stay in session to pass immigration reform and the reason???

Well it seems he is up in arms because Mexican families are not together during the holidays. I'm not sure whether that is because they leave their families and illegally come here or that they are getting deported from here where they have families also here illegally.

Either way he is demanding that we make it so the illegals can all be together for the holidays.

Where I have a big problem is the difference in how to do that.

Rep. Guttierrez wants basically no real immigration law so all the illegals can be together here in the United States while I want all of them sent back to wherever and they can all be together wherever that is to their hearts' content.

Further the reason they are not together is their fault. One: They leave their families to illegally come here. Two: Being here results in them being deported and their families don't get caught so they get separated.

Either way the illegals themselves can solve this problem very easily.

One: They can not leave their families that they so want to be with by coming here illegally.

Two: The illegal families can turn themselves in and go with the illegal first arrested.

That way they're all together.

That of course was after I got rather happy with the headline above it which read:

"Amnesty Dead!"

Oh well its not but its not going anywhere anytime soon either.

Although I do wish someone would tell Senator McCain that he's making a hell of an assumption in that his wishy washy "Moderate" republicans will win in next years primaries.

With that misguided belief he says once they get rid of the "Right" and have these traitors to the Republican party going towards the general election they can push immigration again.

Then again there was a comment from some guy from "America's Voice" which said basically Republicans were risking their political lives and Boehner would go down in history as sealing the doom of his party should he not do the reform before the end of the year.

The problem for Mr. McCain, Gutterierrez, America's Voice, and the immigrant rights activists is that plain and simple if the Republican party caves in and lets all these illegals stay then that will seal their fate far worse than not doing it conceivably could.

Not only that but anyone who votes for anything but getting rid of these millions of illegals is risking their political lives with real Republicans.

What no one seems to want to talk about is that the people want them gone. Period. Get rid of them. That's what the INS is for so go back to round-ups and round them all up.

What's so hard about that?

In the end the Republican party may go down as the whining activist states but if it does I hope it at least goes down sticking to it's principles. It can say in the end it stood up for what was right and even though it cost them they did the right thing to the end.

I know, bunch of romantic drivel but still its better than being like McCain and his ilk who are all too ready to compromise theirs.

Another thing for the Republican party to remember is that all those illegals who supposedly will seal the Republican's fate if the Republicans don't give in and pass amnesty can't vote, at least not without democratic chicanery.

The key is that they can't vote as long as they are illegals. Make them legal then you might have something to worry about. Don't and you won't.

Either way what is right is that they go and not be allowed back in. Simple as that.

Now another thing today was Jews are being attacked by roving bands of animals, sorry make that black youths, who are playing a new game called "Knock Out The Jew." Which is real lovely but what gets me is all the people commenting that the Jews deserve it.

Most say because the Jews are liberal and this is what they get.

I'm sorry liberal or conservative is neither here nor there in something like this. Once more these animals are attacking innocent white people just for fun, this includes a twelve year old child. The Jews don't deserve this and aren't responsible for the hatred continually shown by blacks to others. Its the blacks' fault just like its been the blacks' fault in other instances of these kind of attacks where primarily they think its cool to beat or kill whites.

While you could say liberalism allowed them to be this way and excuses what they do all the time, to blame a particular group who is being victimized by them is wrong to my way of thinking.

Speaking of blacks, there is one who fought with and attempted to run from a cop in northeastern Virginia who is now crying excessive force because he got his a$$ tazed. The cop apparently held down that bottom as long as the guy was playing the fool and now he's under investigation because the bad guy got forty seconds worth of showing who's boss.

Now on too lighter fare.

Nancy Pelosi my absolute favorite of all liberal whackos (as in not) got up to say a whopping one million people signed up for health care while the HHS Secretary was saying just 100,000 did. Not only that but she stated 500,000 actually got it.

Maybe Sebillous and her should talk because apparently the HHS Secretary can't find the other nine hundred thousand.

The final thing that left me laughing was some guy impersonated a cop to get a discount on donuts not only that he waved a gun around saying "See I'm a cop."

Can you say dumb$hit?

I think that's it for tonight although my glasses broke a bit ago so I'm going to have to go get them fixed tomorrow. At least its warming up a bit from what it has been.

Why Not A Post Every Day???

I suppose some people may wonder why there isn't a post up here every day or maybe even more than one as has happened in the past.

I thought I'd address that briefly here and now.

Its not that I don't find things I could post about such as the anti-second amendment folks whose stupidity knows no bounds out in Washington state.

A six time felon breaking into these students' off campus apartment got a gun pulled by the residents of said apartment who were in fear of their lives. The school is taking punitive action against them for having and pulling the firearm on someone to likely save their own lives.

Or maybe the moron on CNN who advocates for Obamacare and says it should have been even more progressive and socialistic than it is. Who goes on to say the Democrats should basically abandon the center and be true liberals pushing a liberal, far left, progressive agenda. Somehow he thinks people actually want that.

The problem becomes that in many, many cases it would be me ranting the same thing on a different day.

I've already said plenty on anti-second imbeciles so it becomes a question of is there something really new which I could speak about and for the most part the answer is no.

They're still imbeciles and retarded liberal morons. Taking away our guns is still wrong and isn't going to be allowed to happen outside the liberal bastions like New York where they are plenty used to having their basic rights and freedoms taken away or vastly restricted.

The same applies to the liberals in general. I see an article like that and I wonder how much of that stuff they've been legalizing that they have been smoking.

Except for certain constituencies no one wants more left wing liberal crap in our government or its polices.

I've also said plenty about that. Frankly there isn't much new I could say to it. Other than bringing out another example of their BS there is nothing new in it.

So rather than go on repeated rants and diatribes on a subject I tend to not post unless something comes up that is new in some way like the woman whining about being called a loser along with her child because they are such losers.

That all boils down to not having new posts every day and sometimes for a week or even weeks at a time.

It doesn't mean I don't see things and occasionally it will annoy me enough to actually write a post about the same type of thing only on a different day.

So yeah, hearing about Obamacare failing because its a very bad law and this liberal saying its all somehow the Republicans' fault is just more of their imbecility.

News flash to all liberals. Its a very bad law and it sucks not to mention nobody likes it except maybe certain groups of people and even then I'm not so sure. So stop using the R word to blame your shit on and own up to the disaster you've caused.

Anyway I've went and spoke anyway, oh well. LOL

Risking many, She doesn't like being judged for it.

Just ran across an article on CNN which really got me angry.

This woman has three kids and the video opens with "I did feel judged....."

You're damn right you should feel that way. You were judged and found wanting and for very good reason too.

This woman has "Decided" to put at risk people and especially children all to make her own "Decisions" to the detriment of her children and others' children as well as adults.

I guess I should start at the beginning.

The title of the video is "Mom: Hospital staff insulted my baby."

I'd take exception to that and say they insulted her but then again either apply.

This woman with three kids has chosen to not vaccinate two of said children.

As another article in CNN today shows that decision puts not only her children at high risk of getting once eradicated diseases but puts many, many others, often children, at high risk as well.

The second article covers how many once eradicated diseases are now back because of selfish whack jobs like this mother.

Whooping cough, measles, mumps etc. All are back and there are two primary reasons. Illegals coming here with diseases and people like this mother who do not vaccinate their children against these diseases allowing them to spread within our population a lot more than they would otherwise outside a certain segment.

This mother's decision and others like her mean that not only are her children likely to contract such diseases but they will also spread these diseases to others, adults and children.

This is especially true of children with who they would most likely have the most contact.

The second article talks about the author's five week old son who almost died because of contracting whooping cough because of parents like this mother. Parents who did not vaccinate their children which then spread the disease around for her young infant, who was too young to get vaccinated, to get.

So we get back to this particular mother and her children and her whining to national media.

Someone, presumably a nurse, wrote on discharge instructions "0 immunizations", an unhappy face, and the word "Loser" at the bottom under the face.

She says its an insult to her baby. She says she felt insulted for the choices she has made. She says they judged her and her baby. She says they have no right to judge her or make judgements about her.

I say sure they do. I also say that everyone has a right to make judgements about her and the others who are so stupid, so reckless, so uncaring that they don't care if their children get sick and quite possibly die. Furthermore they don't care that by their decision they put hundreds if not many more at risk of serious illness and/or death.

Because that is what they are doing. You can sugar coat it like they apparently do to be about their "Choices" etc. but bottom line that is what they're doing.

That baby is the loser in this as well as her other child who is not vaccinated and she is a loser for not getting the protection her children need and her uncaring attitude about anyone else except for her "Choices"

So was anything wrong with what the nurse said? I say no. It was an extremely accurate description of child and mother.

Because this has such wide ranging repercussions  to everyone it means that everyone and certainly medical professionals have the right to judge her and her children.

Sadly this isn't about her and her "Choices" its about what her choices mean for hundreds or more people and when someone's "Choices" affect or have the likely potential to cause overwhelming harm to so many others it means we, the people, and nurses, doctors and others get to make a judgement on such careless, reckless "Choices"

So as a parent who did vaccinate his children throughout their childhood and someone who has a bit of medical background I firmly believe that any parent who does not vaccinate their children should have said children removed from their care because their "Choices" clearly show they don't give a damn about their kids or killing them much less anyone else.

This is a serious medical issue that has been expanding in recent years due to the selfishness of people like this mother and there is no excuse for it. It needs to go back to mandatory vaccinations or go to it period.

The welfare of these children, even their very lives, are at stake and many, many others as well. Parents' "Choices" have limits and when said "Choices" start causing tangible and widespread harm as they are doing then they should lose their right make such "Choices."

So yes Katie Smart, you were judged. With reason and with cause you were found to be wanting and you were found to be harming not only your children but quite possibly many others as well.

You and your baby are losers plain and simple.

Sadly though, loser that you are, you'll be allowed to possibly kill your children and possibly many, many more because of your losing "Choice"

Enjoy it because I really hope that is one choice that will be summarily removed from parents like you, one day soon.

Tea Party, Losers??? Or Not??

Well the election has come and gone, we're left with Monday morning quarterbacking going on by all sides of course.

The democrats of course are up saying Virginia wanted a progressive liberal and didn't want some conservative nut case. Some of them have even used the word nut to describe a Tea Party candidate in Cuccinelli.

Then again there is the establishment republican party who abandoned for all intents and purposes the Cuccinelli campaign in order to "Prove" that the Tea Party couldn't win.

Today they are saying that no such thing happened but facts show otherwise.

The big referendum on the Tea Party has been decisively proven according to them and the Dems.

The idea is, according to them, proof that the Tea Party is full of unelectable extremists. That they are the fringe of the Republican party. That no one wants them.

Sadly this is coming from the Republican party themselves I think more than the Dems.

But any way you look at things keep in mind some facts about that race.

Start with the Dem liberal progressive won it by two points. That's it. All the liberal media had been saying double digit leads yet it came down to two percentage points. (Some say 2.5)

In addition keep in mind that the Dem here outspent Cuccinelli two to one and out advertised him by a factor of ten to one.

I won't even get into all the heavyweights that showed up for the Dem. in this race.

And still Cuccinelli almost won. I know, according to the liberals, almost doesn't count but really? Think about it, the Dems pulled out all the stops, spent enormous sums of money, and slammed the airwaves with non-stop anti-Cuccinelli ads and they only won by two points?

That should give them some serious pause in which to think about things. If the Dem supported spoiler hadn't been in the race where would that seven points have gone? Some say to Cuccinelli some say not. Independents though broke for Cuccinelli so it would only be logical to think that seven percent of Independents would mostly at least go to him as well.

Further it should give the Republican establishment even further pause because without their help, with their nastiness and attacks on the Tea Party and very little money from them, Cuccinelli came within two points of winning the day.

That should say a lot to a number of people but it sure doesn't seem like it is. Today is all about the everything besides the fact, with everything against him, he still almost pulled it off.

Maybe the Republican establishment should take serious notice of that fact, hell they should take serious notice of it because despite everything they did to ensure his defeat he almost pulled it off.

That is the story that is getting almost no play in the after election yakking going on. Oh sure there are comments about it being a narrow win but that's as far as they go.

And it really shouldn't be.

The Republican establishment also needs to learn that the Tea Party isn't made up of fringe nut jobs or whackos looking to steal the Republican party.

They need to understand those of us who have followed and support the Tea Party are main stream Republicans who often have been long time members of the party.

They need to understand we got sick and tired of compromising on basic principals and want people who will go in and stand up for us, the people. Representatives who will not give in on the myriad issues confronting us from the left as the establishment Republicans have and continue to do.

For myself I don't want nor like the get along go along mentality that the establishment Republicans have turned into. I don't want it. I want someone who will clearly stand up and say NO!

No to taking our guns away. No to making seventeen million illegals, legal. No to our huge debt. No to redistribution of wealth. No to socialized medicine. No to forcing all this environmental garbage upon us as a country, especially when its being proven almost daily just how false climate change and global warming really is.

Just say no.

The establishment Republicans have forgotten how to do this and prefer to demonize and marginalize us into some type of radical freaks when we are not any such thing.

The epitome of what I'm talking about occurred with Bush II when he demanded more social spending than even the Democrats would tolerate and it was those Democrats who actually had to constrain Bush from what he wanted to spend and cut said spending.

There is something fundamentally wrong with that picture when big spending pro social program liberals say the Republican is spending way too much money and step in to stop said Republican.

Something seriously wrong.

So they keep making us out to be some fringe nuts but in reality we're not. We're lifelong Republicans who simply want people who represent us and stand up for us, not talk about it then go to Washington and do whatever they want to besides that.

Demonizing us is not going to help the party other than make us feel even more like the Republican party just doesn't get it.

Personally I don't think they do.

I've been a lifelong Republican, President Reagan was elected just before I could vote but I would have voted for him if I could have. I did four years later.

I've been a loyal supporter and more importantly voter for the Republican party my entire life. Yet they don't seem to get they are alienating me and many, many others. Not only that but they are making it worse by name calling and the hatred exhibited towards us from them.

Do I think the Tea Party is perfect? No.

Some of their social positions are much too restrictive for me but as I've always done I rely on the courts to temper such things. I loved Reagan and still do but I didn't agree with some things he espoused and relied on the courts to reign such things in. They did.

Do I think they do stupid things? Yes I do. The shutdown wasn't wrong in and of itself but what was wrong is there was no clear objective or any hope whatsoever of accomplishing anything.

If there had been something to be gained then going to the mat for it might be called for but there wasn't. Now they've made it impossible for it to happen again from what I read.

It was, basically, a completely wasted shot which did nothing for anybody and actually hurt the cause. So I don't agree with everything.

The thing is though out of all the parties and ideologies, the Tea Party most represents those views held by me and they represent my interests the most along with what I truly believe is those of the country. Further my views haven't changed all that much other than crystallizing even more what I believe and don't believe in. They have changed but fundamentally I haven't.

So to all the Establishment Republicans out there, be careful what you wish for and be doubly careful in what you're trying to do.

You may run the Tea Party out of the Republican Party but I guarantee you that you'll lose a hell of a lot of Republicans along with it and I'll be among the first to go with them.

From God to a Steak

Well several things today, some light some not.

The Air Force essentially removed the point of the oath cadets take at the Air Force academy. No longer will cadets have to say "...So help me God"

Sad that some atheist whack jobs succeeded with something like that.

Let's see, there is the N.C. guy from the Republican party who had an interview and said blacks were lazy and had an institutional ideology that government owed them and that they were entitled to everything.

He was fired or forced to resign for telling the truth which leads me into the next part.

Once again there is the whole get something for nothing entitled mentality rearing it's head over wages in unskilled entry level work.

These people think they are entitled to exorbitant wages because they just are when working at no skill entry level positions like McDonalds and other such jobs.

Sadly the liberals were out in force in the comments section saying Republicans have no heart. While I disagree with that obviously I can say that regardless of that accusation we obviously do have a couple of things the libs don't have.

Reason, logic, common sense, and intelligence.

These jobs are entry level positions for someone totally unskilled. They are not 15 dollar an hour jobs for crying out loud. Just because you can't find other work with your fancy college decree doesn't mean you get to go in and demand college level wages in unskilled, entry level positions.

You get paid what the job is worth not what you think you're worth.

That these people can't seem to grasp that is just more of a sign that kids aren't getting educated sufficiently have basic reasoning skills which would show them this.

Instead they feel entitled to something they haven't earned and don't deserve and expect businesses to pay for what these people think they should be making. One thing they can do is let the jobs go back to high school and college kids trying to earn a few extra dollars rather than adults trying to support an entire family on what clearly is not for that purpose.

And finally in the cycle a story was out today showing more people on government benefit programs than were working.

I've known for years it was going to come to that but still, to see it actually happen is disconcerting.

Now on to one of my favorite subjects, steaks.

Now I can rarely afford them but I still love them a great deal.

So imagine my absolute surprise when I ran across an article from someone who claimed to love them so much and was telling people how to continue to eat them but in a healthy way.

Now don't get me wrong I'd been saying for years that these health food nuts wanted you to eat crap that was exactly that instead of great tasting food.

This article pointed out five ways to eat healthy steaks so I took a look.

To my shock those five points were actually what not to buy when shopping for a steak.

Don't buy T-bone, Prime Rib and similar cuts of meat. Don't buy well marbled cuts, don't buy anything but extra lean 95 or 97% fat free cuts, and last but not least ideally do not even buy beef but instead buy bison and buffalo.

Now as I said this is exactly what not to buy. The best steak isn't a flank steak or the other cuts listed. Marbling is essential to a flavorful and full of taste quality cut of steak. The less fat the less quality of the steak.

If you stop and look at the most expensive cut of meat in the world which is Kobe it is known for its rich marbling which is essential to taste and flavor of the meat.

Translate that as the more fat running throughout the steak the better that steak's flavor and taste is.

Why on Earth would anyone who loves steak write up a list of what not to ever buy in a steak and put it up as desirable to get.

It's not.

Now I want one........ugh

Part 2 of the debate.

Well since I wrote that post on the question of rape I have seen some people take it as something I never intended for it to be.

Let me make it clear here that I am not supporting rapists in any way. I do not and have never supported such persons.

The comments I made were not meant to be taken as support of rapists or excusing the actions rapists take.

The problem I had and still have is one of a figurative lynch mob via social media without all the facts in evidence to justify one.

Just because a girl cries rape doesn't necessarily make it so.

There are a lot of questions in this Missouri case. The facts as we know them from media are the girl was drinking at her house with a thirteen year old friend. Both then sneaked out a window and went to a party. Once at the party with many others present someone gave her a large glass of what was apparently more alcohol.

At some point after that the girl and a seventeen year old boy engaged in sexual relations.

Those are the facts and you can add she ended up in her front yard lying on the ground for a while before being discovered.

What the girl says is after being handed a glass she doesn't remember anything after that point in time.

Now here is where the facts become blurry.

She doesn't remember but her friend told her she was raped. Her friend also claims she was raped at the same party by a fifteen year old.

It was clear she had engaged in sexual relations. It was also clear it wasn't as gentle and nice as it could have been.

Evidence of force? Maybe

Evidence of ineptness? Maybe

Evidence of hurried fumbling activity? Maybe.

A lot of maybes, but the boy claims it was consensual. Was it?

The boy separately and the younger girl state that the boy gave her and the fourteen year old a ride home and the younger girl helped the older one out of the car and they began walking away from the car at which point the boy drove off.

The older girl ended up laying in the walkway in front of her house in freezing cold weather. No boy or the younger girl around.

Another story is the boy drove them home and dumped them on the curb before driving away.

Which was it?

How did the older girl end up face down in the freezing drive?

Maybe the younger girl left her there?

Maybe the boy did and she walked all the way up from the curb before collapsing where she was found.

But then again, supposedly she was unconscious.

How could she walk anywhere?

How did she get from the curb to where she was found?

Was she actually conscious when she got out as a couple of the stories maintain? Maybe.

What we know is her mother and youngest son found her out there and brought her in where they got her undressed and put her in a bathtub where the mother saw evidence of sexual activity.

Do you see my point here? I'm not saying the girl wasn't raped but I am saying there are too many questions and maybes to go out and lynch a kid until more evidence is introduced.

Somehow in a lot of people's minds it seems calling for some caution before killing the boy is seen as being a rape apologist or in support of those who rape others.

Its not.

There are problems here. There are questions that need answers before jumping to that conclusion that the boy is guilty just because.

The sheriff has openly said the girl and her family have changed their stories multiple times. The defense attorney for the boys said he has it on record that the mother says the girl lies a lot. The prosecutor has it on record and recorded that the girl and her family invoked her fifth amendment rights and refused to testify. Further he states that what was recorded and on the record is him repeatedly telling them that by doing this they would be unable to prosecute the case.

Also they have it on record as the girl and her family refusing to testify and being non-cooperative.

According to the lynch mob of social media this is all some big conspiracy against this girl but the thing is once these people said its on the record and/or recorded it becomes very easy to prove one way or the other.

I have to say the sheriff and the prosecutor don't seem worried at all about what an investigation will find. Matter of fact the prosecutor tore into the girl and her family in a press conference and said bring it on essentially because it wasn't his fault but that of the girl and her family that nothing got done.

Now any way you look at it, and I mean even in the best possible light for the girl, this raises questions about the whole thing.

Questions again. Maybes again. Too many to make this an open and shut case.

For example why after two years has the girl suddenly decided to make a case of this? She's certainly being professionally handled by someone. Who?

That is my point. Too many questions and maybes exist for this to be an automatic lynch mob which social media is making it.

One of those maybes may be finding the boy guilty in the end and sending him to jail. I don't know.

I don't have a problem with the court handling this and after a trial finding the boy guilty if the trial isn't a show trial to crucify him like the Zimmerman trial was. He may indeed be a rapist. I don't know if he is or he isn't which is why I have said something in the comments section of CNN.

I said something not to defend a rapist but to defend a boy all too many are ready to string up when there are still a lot of questions and maybes out there as to what actually did and did not take place.

Yes the sheriff arrested the boy. Yes the prosecutor charged the boy and was going to try him but that never happened and he tells a different story.

He has his right to receive a fair trial and before people jump on the circus to gut him on the public steps maybe they should wait until that happens first.

What is so wrong with asking that?

GOP and The Fizzle

The second thing today is something that has been going on for a couple of weeks or so.

The shutdown.

I haven't been on here as I said before. But I did want to say a couple of things about this.

First of all, what was the damn point?

There was none. That's right there was absolutely no point to shutting down the government at all.

I generally side with the Tea Party and have come to detest establishment Republicans who are so mealy mouthed and wishy washy they can't ever seem to take a stand but this?

A complete and total waste of time and capital spent for nothing.

Second of all, was there any point to any of it? Did we, the American people get anything out of it at all?

The answer is again no and none.

When this started there was absolutely no chance of anything being done to Obamacare. NO CHANCE. Not some chance or a good chance but no chance at all.

Why because Obama and the democrats have already funded Obamacare for the foreseeable future.

Obamacare is a disaster for America, I get that and it is but even if the democrats and Obama gave in on most of what the Republicans were asking guess what would have happened to Obamacare?

Nothing, again.

That is because unless the Republicans put up a total repeal of Obamacare retroactively then it wouldn't do a damn thing and they never even tried that because that had even worse chances of getting anywhere than what they did ask for.

They went ahead with this government shutdown and what do they have for all this drama and spectacle?

Nothing, again.

In the end after going to the brink, the very edge, the Republicans got nothing, nothing at all.

It was a total waste.

Why they did it I do not know. It has been obvious that Obamacare is worse than anybody thought. It has been even more so since they rolled it out.

This was said by someone else in the news and I'm basically restating it but we could have sat back and basically smirked and said "I told you so" while the train derailed but we didn't.

We instead jumped on the "Shutdown" bandwagon with no real goal in mind and in the end for nothing.

We could have waited until Obama was asking the Republican party to raise the debt ceiling and then expended that capital and fought to cut the democratic spending and do something to get our budget back on track along with getting our debt started towards a reduction.

But that didn't happen. The Republican Party and yes the Tea Party shot its wad way too early. Instead everyone got screwed and only the democrats enjoyed it.

So now the democrats have passed a deal and the House has voted for it.

In the end all that capital was wasted, all the possibilities that come with a showdown like that were spent on nothing instead of real fights, fights the Tea Party and Republicans can actually win, on real issues, substantive issues.

Sadly that didn't happen. The debt is going up as well as spending, all unchecked, and what did we end up with out of this?

Nothing.

What is even worse is the fight went on with no clear goal in mind after the first few days if that and it damn sure looked like it was no more than a bunch of children throwing a tantrum for no reason.

In the end with no clear goal, with no nothing they gave in. Sadly they never should have started but the lack of cohesive goals for their actions makes it even worse.

Somebody needs to tell me exactly what was hoped to be accomplished by this because I never did figure it out.

The worst part is what will happen now. The Republicans don't have any capital left to use. No one is going to take them seriously because of this debacle. So what's going to happen next?

What's going to happen with immigration? There is something they desperately need capital for in order to fight it. They don't have any. The question becomes not only what are they going to do but how in the hell are they going to do it?

Or are the establishment Republicans after this going to run the show and give in on the issue as so many of them have been saying they are going to do?

What about environmental stuff that Obama et al want but is so detrimental to the US? They don't have anything remotely resembling credibility left to fight it with.

Then we can visit this issue again in December, January, and February and guess what, we're back where we just were.

And they have no nothing with which to fight even if they find their asses from a hole in the ground and come up with something to fight for.

In the end the big bang ended in a big fizzle and no one is the better off for it, especially the Tea Party.

Onto another note after seeing an article by Dave Frum the other day.

His theory is that the Tea Party is some tiny fringe group that should be forced out of the Republican party and left to form their own party or something but they shouldn't be a part of the Republican party at all.

One thing I think Mr. Frum is forgetting are the sheer numbers who would go with them. I have been a life long Republican but I agree with a great deal of what the Tea Party does. I also hold in contempt the establishment Republicans who won't take a stand and won't fight for us or this country on important issues. The establishment Republicans have caved in on immigration, environmentalism, and many other things of huge importance to this country's future.

If the Tea Party should go this lifer will go with them and no longer support the Republican party in any way, shape or form. I also will never ever vote for a Republican again no matter what circumstances may exist.

John McCain and the many others like him do not represent me and haven't for some time. If I want what are essentially centrist democrats I would vote democratic at the ballot, I don't.

So I think Mr. Frum should take notice and watch what he says for supposedly him being a Republican he sure wants to see the downfall of "His" party an awful lot.

Now that I've said that I want to make it clear the Tea Party needs to get their shit together and stop idiocy like what has been happening these last couple of weeks. They need to look for the battles and choose those which are actually important and that can be fought for. If they keep doing stupid shit like this I will not vote for them either. But if they can get it together then I think they'll be a formidable force to be reckoned with.

As Dr. Laura used to say "Pick very carefully if this is the hill you want to die for." My version is pick which hill to go to war over a hell of a lot better than you have been lately.

As my daughter is fond of saying "To hell with all of them" and if the Tea Party doesn't learn when to fight and more importantly when not to then I think I'll join her.
