Two new things this week which are a sad commentary on how far we've fallen. In both cases nobody seems to see anything wrong with what has taken place. In both cases there seems to be tolerance of this kind of idiocy, even support.
In both cases no one is stepping up saying "Wait just a bleedin minute here."
As I said a sad commentary on things.
The first is a bunch of black students and faculty at the University of Minnesota have issued demands that the campus police no longer broadcast descriptions which include blacks as suspects.
Its apparently racist to say a male black just robbed the liqueur store down the street. The suspect can be referred to as a male and a clothing description given according to the demands but the race of the suspect is not permissible to be put out there.
Once again the rantings of discrimination and racism prevail when someone should be asking "WTF?
Just because in many cases the suspect is black doesn't allow some sophomoric imbecilic idea to be foisted off on the rest of us that we can't say its blacks doing it anymore because it paints a bad picture of blacks.
Too bad, deal with it. Then go into your black neighborhoods and start telling the blacks there that you don't like hearing them on all the crime broadcasts so maybe they should stop committing crimes.
Oh, wait, that's right, that would be far too sensible of an idea not to mention suggesting someone take responsibility for their own actions.
Lord above, we sure can't have that.
The other is just as stupid.
A school in NYC is dropping their gifted program for exceptionally smart kids because they can't find enough smart blacks ones to fill up seats.
I kid you not, screw the majority white students in the area solely because they are white and they can't find enough blacks to make the program diverse enough to suit these race accommodaters.
If that isn't up there on the most stupidest things list I don't know what should be.
All these students who need the special program now can't get it because, according to these whiners, they can't tolerate a majority white program.
Poor kids, and poor society that we've fallen this far where something like that could even be thought up much less actually be put into action.
This is where laughter comes into play.
People should laugh these people right off the stage so to speak when they come up with something so ridiculous as this or the lets not tell anybody the blacks are actually the ones doing crimes crap they came up with.
Sadly that is lacking as well as common sense apparently.
Its just two more stories that should be a joke but somehow aren't.
